Do you like reviews of paleo products, books, or services? Awesome! So do I. That’s why I write them and post them here on The Paleo Fix. Check out our Reviews section for more. Do you have a product you want to be reviewed or would like to see reviewed? Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or reach out on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook and I’ll see what I can do. Thanks for reading!
Usually it is pretty straight forward when I post reviews here on the website – I like (or dislike) a product and write a little review about it. This post will be a little different. I’ll be highlighting Soul Stew – a service more than a product.
Soul Stew is not exactly what you would expect from the name. No piping hot stew in sight, only hand crafted and thoughtfully curated gift baskets for healthy people! While Soul Stew offers a variety of raw, gluten-free and vegan options for their baskets, they also have a specific “paleo” section. Of course you knew that’s what I would be interested in!
When you navigate to their website and click on the “PALEO” section, you’ll notice there are a few different options. These are easy to choose from. I went with the “Paleo Plus” version because I am a pig and love to eat things.
Each box is tucked nicely into a bamboo box and biodegradable filling and stocked with a massive amount of paleo goodies.
My box came wrapped up in a nice amount of protective padding as well as a hand written note card – nice touch! The postal people didn’t seem to be too nice to the box as I received it upside down despite directions to keep right side up. No worries as it was packed sufficiently.
In the Paleo Plus box, you will find:
- 8 beef sticks
- 4 chocolate bars
- 3 packs of Vital Choice fish
- 2 snack chips
- and a tub of almond butter
I got this box right before I was traveling so it made it extremely easy to pack up and get on the run. Sometimes my preflight trips to Whole Foods end with me just buying small packs of nut butters as it is hard to get snack style paleo foods.
WHAT IS IT?
Paleo-friendly gift baskets, thoughfully curated. Variety of paleo options for different needs, amounts and price points.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Anyone looking to please a fellow paleo. Great for stocking up for traveling and not having to buy every little thing individually.
SHOULD YOU BUY IT?
If you are sending a gift to a paleo or are traveling soon and don’t feel like stocking up on individual items, then absolutely.
WHERE CAN YOU GET IT?
